Local Insider: Historically, tickets drop in waves starting late November to early December. Because Arena Burgas has a slightly smaller capacity than massive stadiums, tickets for the Grand Final will sell out in minutes. We highly recommend aiming for the Jury Shows or Family Shows which are identical in production but much easier to get tickets for.

Arena Burgas is a state-of-the-art multi-functional hall. For a concert configuration with a massive Eurovision stage and green room, the expected capacity is roughly 8,000 to 10,000 fans per show. It's an intimate and electric venue!

If you fly into Sofia (SOF), you have four main options to reach the coast:

• Domestic Flight: Bulgaria Air flies to Burgas (BOJ). It takes 45 minutes, but book early.
• Rent a Car: A 3.5-hour drive via the A1 Trakiya highway. (Don't forget the BGTOLL vignette!).
• Bus: Union Ivkoni or Karat-S operate comfortable coaches from Sofia Central Bus Station (~5 hours).
• Night Train (BDZ): A classic experience. You can book a sleeping cabin. It takes about 8 hours. Tickets open 30 days in advance and will sell out instantly for Eurovision week.

Uber does not operate in Bulgaria. To avoid being overcharged, never accept rides from people shouting "Taxi!" at arrivals. Instead, download local apps like TaxiMe, Maxim, or use local trusted operators like Omega Taxi. If hailing on the street, look at the sticker on the passenger window to verify the rate per kilometer (should be around 1.20 - 1.50 BGN/km).

It depends entirely on your budget and vibe:

Stay in Burgas (Lazur, Zornitsa, Center): If you want to walk to the Arena and the EuroVillage. Prices will be at a massive premium.

Stay in Sunny Beach / Nessebar: If you are on a budget or want a resort vacation. You'll have hundreds of hotels to choose from, but you must factor in a 40-minute drive to the Arena for the shows.

While official announcements are pending, local consensus points to the Port of Burgas (Morski Gara) or the Sea Garden. Both locations frequently host massive summer festivals (like SPICE Music Festival), have the necessary security infrastructure, and offer breathtaking views of the Black Sea.

Bulgaria is transitioning to the Euro, but as of right now, the local currency is the Bulgarian Lev (BGN). You can pay by card (Visa/Mastercard) at 95% of restaurants, supermarkets, and hotels. However, you should carry a small amount of cash (50-100 BGN) for tipping, small bakeries, or paying for sunbeds on the beach.
